DAAD: Germany Today Tour

We pleased to share this professional opportunity from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Applications are now open for the Germany Today 2026 Information Tour, taking place June 21–27, 2026 in Berlin, Leipzig, Jena, and Fulda.

This year’s program focuses on innovation, research, and academic exchange and offers participants a comprehensive overview of Germany’s higher education and research landscape. The tour highlights:

  • Germany’s higher education and research systems
  • Innovative projects and structural developments
  • Academic programs at the BA, MA, and PhD levels
  • Funding opportunities for transatlantic cooperation
  • Engagement with universities and research institutions recognized for international collaboration

DAAD covers all in‑country program costs, including accommodations, domestic travel, and most meals. Participants are responsible only for their airfare. The program is conducted in English.

Eligibility: Open to U.S. and Canadian university leaders, senior administrators, and policy professionals with an interest in Germany and transatlantic collaboration. Special consideration is given to institutions that have not previously participated.
