Study Abroad Deadline Extended

April 15th (11:59 p.m.) - Final, final Deadline to be abroad for the academic year 2024-25 or fall 2024.

Special Application Process for this Deadline Only:

  1. Apply on CSU IP's website before the deadline.
  2. Email studyabroad@sfsu.edu to let us know. We will ask you to complete the short intake form in our database for the spring 2025 semester and then switch you to either academic year 2024-25 or fall 2025 depending on when you have applied to study abroad with CSU IP.

Please note that this is a very late deadline so you may need to do the post-application steps with less time. It is important that you follow instructions very carefully and check your email account regularly. Be mindful if it says the programs is only available for the academic year then it is only available for the year no exceptions. Please do not request an exception as it cannot be granted. 

*Pay extra attention to programs that have been bolded above as they have been identified as a top university with high-quality programs with lots of capacity.
